The History of Cold Spring Kennel from the beginning to now...

   My grandfather owned an American Bulldog/Olde English Bulldogge mix his name was "Muggs". When I was around 3-4 yrs. old I remember visiting my grandfather and Muggs many times, he was an awesome looking dog. This was my first relationship with these two awesome breeds.

    As I was growing up on Coot Hill (as it was known then) my mom bred a few litters of PR Colby Bred Pit bulls and I would help her every chance that I got. The first dog that I owned was my Pit Bull "Brindi-Din" she was so sweet, I took her every where I went, she was my shadow, until the day that someone poisoned her and I lost my buddy, my best friend (I was so heart broken). As time went by and when I was finally ready to look for another dog, I decided that no other dog would ever replace my Brindi, that is when I saw an ad in a local paper "American Bulldog Puppies for sale" and all my memories of fun times with Muggs and my grandfather flowed over me. That is when I got my first American Bulldog, she was the last one available out of a litter of 10, I named her Miss Muggins, yes after my grandfather's dog Muggs.

A couple years after I got Miss Muggins I decided to look for a Male, that is when Bronx came to us. We had our first litter of American Bulldogs on Jan. 28, 1999, & Cold Spring Kennel was formed. I have been raising American & Olde English Bulldogges ever since, I have lived here since I was 3 yrs. old and I have no intentions of moving, my phone number (land line) has been the same since 1987 (I do not have a cell phone) I want my puppy buyers to be able to reach me when they need to, I am available 24 hours a day whenever someone needs me. Out of my last three litters, half the pups sold went to repeat satisfied clients from as far back as six years ago to 6 months ago.

    I usually only have only 1-3 litters a year, every breeding is carefully planned so that I can give each puppy the proper amount of time and care that they deserve until they leave Cold Spring Kennel for their new Forever Homes.

   I put a lot of time and care into every puppy/dog that I raise, all pups are well socialized with children, people, and other dogs. They are UTD on all their shots & wormings and come with a 1 Yr. Genetic Health Gurantee. Pricing is as Pet Only or With Full Breeding Rights if wanted.
